A Day at the Opera

Our class last Friday watched scenes 1 and 2 of the The Barber of Seville. Despite numerous interruptions, the class very much enjoyed the show. The opera is in Italian, so the kids get to practice their reading skills by reading the subtitles. They're also going to write mini reviews which I'll post here when they're done.

I'm so glad that you all got to experience the opera. I know not everyone will like it, but it's good for you to at least see what it's about so that you can hold a conversation with someone and have an opinion about it.
