Homework? What homework?

Fess up time.

I rarely did my homework in elementary school. In fact, I was positively defiant. My parents would tell me to go to my room and do my homework. I'd dutifully go to my room, shut the door, and goof off for an hour.

Yes, dutiful boys and girls do their homework. Miscreants don't.

Ahhh. Except there's a hellish place, a middle ground, where parents spend evening hours locking horns with their children. Just recently we received a note from a mother from one of our students. Essentially, it said, "Another hellish night of homework." I could tell she was not pleased.
