I've got my Twinkies. I've got Jim's website. I've watched the video (good for when I need bread in a few hours time but not relevant to today's experiment). I've done my research - am unable to find a reference to Twinkie bread anywhere, though I have found Twinkie Bread Pudding.
This should be interesting. I'll begin around 11 this morning. I'll post pix as I go along.
Latest thinking - maybe I should throw in some Longhorn cheese... should create a nice sweet/salty balance.
UPDATE - I've just been followed on Twitter by Dr. Harry Goldwhite. I wonder if he's a Twinkie fan? I've invited him to share his knowledge of food chemistry with us as the experiment progresses.
Yesterday I had a gut feeling I needed to return to the church. I'd decided if he were still there I'd bring him home. My gut proved correct. Snow covered his back. Why hadn't the church taken him in? Anyone could see he was lonely.
I placed him in the trunk. After running some errands I came home and gave him a bath. Here he sits just after his bath. He looks hopeful, doesn't he? After a nice warm ride in the clothes dryer I placed him on the cats' scratching post. His spirits had certainly picked up.
